Ryan de Lorge is the co-owner and co-creator of Brownstone Dog Walkers. He is a Park Slope native who grew up on 1st street and attended the Berkeley Carroll school for Middle and high school. Ryan also attended SUNY New Paltz where he met Geoff Lewit. They became fast friends even joining the same fraternity and living together for their junior and senior years of college. Ryan graduated with a BA in Media Management and always knew he wanted to open a business in the neighborhood that helped raise him. After College, Ryan returned to Park Slope and currently lives with his girlfriend Rebecca. Ryan has always had Park Slope in his veins and is very loyal to his community. He is a member of the Prospect Park Alliance, BAM, and the food-Coop and takes part in many community events. His Parents used to own an antiques store on 7th ave and are also very involved in the community. Both with a mind for business and a love of animals Ryan and Geoff collaborated to open Brownstone Dog Walkers in 2011. The company is a passion for these two Brooklyn natives.

Geoff Lewit is the co-owner and co-creator of Brownstone Dog Walkers. Since childhood, he has been intrigued by animal behavior and more specifically, the bond between dogs and humans. After attending SUNY New Paltz and studying communications, Geoff took on a wide spectrum of activities including raising his first puppy (a Sharpei). After 2 years of working full time at Mohonk Mountain House (a national historic landmark hotel in New Paltz N.Y.), Geoff decided to return home to Brooklyn where he became and still is involved in the live music scene. Geoff became a dog walker in order to support his music and realized that dog walking was something he could pursue as a career. Since then he has helped raise 2 more pups to maturity and is ready to get moving with Brownstone Dog Walkers.
Heather Smith is a Canadian native who grew up in Connecticut. She has always loved animals and grew up with cats, fish, hamsters and a golden retriever. After graduating from a musical theatre college in Toronto, Canada, she returned to the states to pursue her career on the stage in NYC and moved to Park Slope, where she has lived for the past 3 years. She adopted a cat from the ASPCA upon moving to the city, and since she doesn't have a dog of her own, she is very excited to be able to spend time with the dogs of Park Slope. She loves the community of this neighborhood, and when she is not walking dogs, you can find her babysitting in Prospect Park or at one of her many favorite restaurants in the Slope.
